A data entry and analysis package for monitoring and evaluation of visual outcome of cataract surgery for IBM compatible microcomputers. It can measure the functioning of the eye as an organ by visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, and other parameters. At the individual level, visual function can be measured with the help of questionnaires to assess activities of daily living or quality of life. The information collected from each patient is purposely limited to minimise the extra work required by any cataract monitoring system.
